Bozzano Olive Ranch is family owned by the Bozzano Family. We are fourth generation farmers in the San Joaquin Valley, with family roots from Italy. We farm, mill, and produce our own 100% Organic California Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Our mission is to be the leading organic producer in California, working diligently to grow & produce award-winning organic premium extra virgin olive oil, that is fresh, healthy, and enhances the flavors of your food. In addition, we also produce 100% organic flavored oils and import 100% organic balsamic vinegar from Modena Italy that we blend ourselves.
Our story starts four generations back with Lino Bozzano farming in the Ligurian region of Italy with his family, immigrating to the USA at the age of 15 in 1930 with his mom and sister. Lino quickly made a name for himself farming tomatoes in the San Joaquin Valley through hard work and an unparalleled attention to detail. He set the groundwork for who we are today and instilled a work ethic that is well-rooted in our genes. One of his favorite sayings was, "There's nothing like a hard days work in the fields." Side note: Lino's dad Giacomo farmed olives in Italy before Lino was born, therefore there have been 4 generations of farming and farming olives for oil in the Bozzano family.

Over time, our Bozzano Family's farming grew to include other row crops and then eventually diversified into planting and farming organic cherries in the current 3rd generation Bozzano (Jack and Nancy) and 4th generation Bozzano (Joe, their son). Today Jack, Nancy, and Joe are the sole owners of Quality Packing & Shipping which owns Bozzano Olive Ranch. Quality Packing was established by Jack and Nancy over 23 years ago, starting as a produce packer on the same land the Bozzanos have farmed for generations. The company quickly grew to include organic cherries in 1983, and potatoes. Later in 2007 the Bozzanos were drawn into the California olive oil industry and planted their own organic orchard.

The driving force behind our family jumping into the California olive oil industry was Joe's interest in cooking and the premium ingredients that he found to be key in making the foods he loved. Joe was on his way to becoming a well-renowned chef, even looking to own his own restaurant, when his interests in olive oil consumed him. In January of 2007, he decided to plant organic olives and install one of the first commercial organic olive oil mills in California. Joe became the "Master Miller," and he still is today. We have won numerous awards over the past years for our olive oils, becoming one of the most awarded organic olive oil producers in the state. We take pride in our attention to detail and strong work ethic from the field to bottle, just as the Bozzano family did four generations ago.
